Title: Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees all production personnel at the assigned mill. This role ensures that products are manufactured in accordance with customer requirements and specifications while adhering to production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Efficiency:

• Ensure all shift work is conducted safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime.
• Promote adherence to established safety rules and regulations.

Product Quality:

• Supervise the production of quality pipe, meeting customer standards and requirements.
• Maintain communication with the Quality Department to enforce quality control policies and procedures.

Equipment Management:

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure production equipment operates at maximum efficiency.

Training Development:

• Provide effective training and instructions for plant personnel.
• Maintain accurate employee training records.

Labor Relations:

• Manage labor-related issues to foster positive relationships among laborers, supervisors, and management.

Reporting Compliance:

• Complete and maintain production reports, employee time cards, and training records.
• Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and disciplinary actions as required.

Preferred but Not Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Prior experience in metal processing or manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor's degree or trade school certification.
• Familiarity with regulatory processes and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment (required).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and resolve labor-related issues effectively.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience (DOE).
