Keys to Freedom Retreat Worship Leader

Are you passionate about leading others in worship and creating transformative, Christ-centered experiences? We're looking for a Spirit-led Part-Time Worship Leader to help guide our community through powerful worship moments during retreats and weekly gatherings.

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Must be a high school graduate or pass a general education development test (GED). Experience in worship arts and/or pastoral leadership preferred.

Skills: Demonstrated excellence and passion as a worship leader. Must possess strong musical ability, vocal skills, and proficiency in playing piano (preferred) and/or guitar, with the ability to lead while playing. A working knowledge of Pro Presenter is preferred. Professional appearance, strong communication, and organizational skills are required. Must be a team player with a servant heart and flexible attitude. Must have a thorough understanding of, alignment with, and dedication to, the vision of Mercy Multiplied, including Mercy's freedom principles, along with Christian work ethics.

Eligibility: Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Position Responsibilities:

Retreat Week Responsibilities (February – November):

• Lead daily worship times with keyboard (preferred) or guitar for retreat participants with excellence and spiritual sensitivity
• Ensure technical aspects of worship (sound, slides, instruments) are coordinated smoothly

Non-Retreat Week Responsibilities (February – November):

• Work with Retreat Director to update worship songs as needed and create/update lyric slides
• Collaborate to plan and execute Spirit-led worship sets aligned with retreat themes
• Set up Retreat Worship & Sessions in Pro Presenter
• Update Prayer Room and YouTube Worship Sets
• Lead staff devotions on an alternating basis
• Participate in team spiritual development and team-building activities

Schedule:

This position has a variable schedule, depending on ministry needs and retreat calendar:

• Retreat Weeks (Approximately 15/year): 18–28 hours/week
• Non-Retreat Weeks: 9–12 hours/week
• Availability Required: Evenings and weekends
• Schedule Notice: Weekly schedules are communicated in advance

Compensation:

$22/hour
