Job Details

This position cares for patients under direction of nursing and medical staff by performing the primary duties. This position works under the supervision of the Director of Emergency Services or designee and is employed by Mosaic Life Care. Duties Transports patients to rooms as appropriate. Assists with patient disrobing, takes vital signs and pulse oximetry, applies cardiac monitors. Transports patients and families to other departments and units as designated. Collects and transports patient specimens including blood, urine, stool and sputum samples. Performs point of care testing including quality controls and instrument maintenance. Performs EKGs and uploads into EMR - Performs and assists with wound care, suturing, epistaxis control, eye exams, orthopedic treatments and splinting. Responsible for basic housekeeping duties such as basic cleaning of rooms between patients. Performs cleaning/maintenance of patient equipment.
