This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all persons, equipment, and physical property of Mosaic Life Care. This position works under the supervision of the DIRECTOR Security and the Security Managers and is employed by Mosaic Health System. Duties Conducting patrols of the buildings and grounds, ensuring adequate access control and protection of caregivers and all Mosaic Life Care properties, and able to respond to an armed threat, and bring a safe resolution to the threat or situation. Conducting inspections of the facilities looking for unsafe acts and/or conditions, which threaten life safety. Able to operate in a stressful environment where person/persons have experienced life threating injuries and death. Controlling persons experiencing behavior that is unacceptable via non-violent physical crisis intervention techniques (CPI) or the approved Force Continuum action, or other accepted practices dependent upon the circumstances.
