Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Provides coordination, communication and project management assistance for the
implementation of the application, application area, or specialized team. Manages the scope,
schedule, and quality of the project in a specific assigned application area. Works closely with
the Epic Director Applications and other Project Managers to coordinate activities. Forms
collaborative relationships within the application team and within clinical and business
communities. Assists the Director Applications in reaching project deliverables and objectives.
Advises team members on project issues, key success factors of the project, and lessons
learned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT or related field or an equivalent combination of
education, certification and experience. Master's degree preferred. Ability to learn Epic's
software. Certification optional and preferred.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience managing progressively complex
projects and/or possess a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare management that may
be acquired through direct industry experience or through consulting. Broad-based
knowledge of clinical or revenue operations preferred.
The work location is Livonia, Michigan. A project manager in this role must be willing to live
locally and/or travel to be present on the work site in Livonia 80% of every week as
determined by executive leadership upon selection.
Project Management coursework or certification preferred.

Hourly pay ranges: $50.79 - $83.81
