Overview

Contract Senior Manager to lead the Global Commercial Military Systems (GCMS) contracts team and Advanced Programs team within Sikorsky. The selected candidate will provide strategic contracting advice and lead a team of Contract Administrators in the administration and negotiation of contracts for GCMS programs. The candidate must build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers, operate as the Companys primary contact with multiple customers, and provide effective leadership to a staff of contracts professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the GCMS contracts team and Advanced Programs contracts activities.
  • Provide strategic contracting counsel to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Direct and supervise a staff of contracts professionals and Contract Administrators, including coaching and performance management.
  • Negotiate and administer contracts for GCMS programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain and strengthen working relationships with internal and external customers; serve as primary Company contact with multiple customers.
Basic Qualifications
  • 15 years or more of professional experience; related Masters degree preferred or Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Significant experience with USG procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS) in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close-out.
  • Experience with different USG Contract Types (FFP, FPIF, CPAF, CPFF, T&M).
  • Experience leading large, complex, USG and DCS contract negotiations.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with USG, International and Commercial Contracts.
  • Experience with CRAD contracts and teaming agreements.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.

  • Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
  • Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $151,200 - $262,085. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. The salary information is a general guideline and may be influenced by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, key skills and market conditions.

Additional Notes

Note: Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) and other standard entitlements as described. Represented full-time employees accrue vacation and sick leave as described; PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date. This position is incentive plan eligible.
