Centria operates in 13 states and uses data-driven analytics and software platforms to evaluate quality and performance.

Position Summary

The Operations Director sets the tone for the center's team member culture and family experience. This role oversees operational aspects within Centria Autism, including developing and managing schedules for Behavior Technicians, coordinating assessments for clients, staffing activities, conducting center tours, and liaising with facility management to maintain a clean and safe environment. The role partners with Clinical Leadership to support clinical outcomes and high-quality care delivery, and contribute to growth. The Operations Director leads Behavior Technicians by coordinating training and compliance needs, issuing disciplinary actions up to termination, and completing the offboarding process. The role develops strategies to improve client and Behavior Technician retention and ensures smooth operations and high-quality standards throughout the organization.

Success Measures

Success measures include adherence to Centria policies, flawless task execution, timely and positive customer service experiences for team members, high compliance, family satisfaction, and meeting or exceeding personal qualitative and quantitative KPI metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling Coordination: Develop and manage schedules for Behavior Technicians, ensure optimal coverage and adherence to policies; coordinate and oversee scheduling of client assessments and assist with re-assessments when necessary; align families, Behavior Technicians, and Supervising Clinicians to start new cases and confirm authorization; coordinate staffing activities and assign multiple Behavior Technicians to clients; confirm schedules weekly with Behavior Technicians and families.
  • Oversee Behavior Technicians and Operational/Center Processes: Assist with training and compliance needs; monitor attendance and professionalism; monitor and analyze center metrics; ensure leadership coverage; coordinate care with clinical sites; participate in internal marketing initiatives and feedback programs; address paper document management issues; schedule and manage non-billable hours within budget; identify staffing needs, interview candidates, issue disciplinary actions, and complete offboarding.
  • Operations Workflow Coordination: Partner with the Director of Clinical Services to drive growth and align service delivery with Centria's clinical model; facilitate communication between Onboarding/Intake and Operations; collaborate with IT to resolve IT issues; review insurance changes and authorizations; coordinate community outreach; develop retention strategies; maintain client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Enforce center policies and procedures, accreditation standards, and training requirements; ensure adherence to medication administration protocols and offboarding policies; manage dormant policy and iPad asset collection.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee payroll and billing accuracy; manage P&L and drive financial performance; provide administrative triage and resolution for authorization and COB issues.
  • Facility Operations: Ensure a clean, organized workspace; conduct center tours; liaise with facility management; maintain safety and OSHA/compliance standards; manage purchasing of operational supplies; manage iPad assets.

Rate

$65,000 - $75,000 plus bonus

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.

  • Work Experience: 2-5 years in operations management or sales, prior management of a team required.
  • Prior P&L experience preferred.
  • Equipment and Technology Requirements: Working knowledge of laptop/desktop PC; proficiency in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Other Competency Requirements: Ability to follow written instructions; ability to use computers and software; clear and effective communication.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong leadership and ability to motivate a diverse team; excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of credentialing, HR practices, and compliance; experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills; comfort with technology platforms for operational management.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and privacy regulations; ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment; occasional travel.

Working Conditions

  • Onsite role; additional time or occasional shift may be required to meet objectives.

Physical Demands

Physical requirements may include bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds; sitting for long periods with periodic walking and standing; close visual acuity for computer work and data analysis.
