General Labor – 3rd Shift

Location: St. Joseph, MO

Pay rate: (19.50/hour)

Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday–Friday

Orientation: Mondays at 7:00 AM

Assignment type: Contract with possible extension based on business needs

Important:

Required background check and drug test must be fully cleared before start.

Concentra physicals must be completed prior to coming on-site (physical, HPE listening, OSHA questionnaire, etc.).

Steel-toed shoes are required.

Position overview

This is a hands-on general labor role in a fast-paced production environment. Work may include housekeeping, running equipment, repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds, and other tasks assigned by supervisors. The environment may be dusty/dirty and will require frequent bending, stooping, and twisting.

All training is provided on the job, and proficiency is usually attained in a short period of time.

Responsibilities

Perform repetitive production and general labor activities as directed

Run or support equipment as trained

Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in work areas

Repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

Follow all written and verbal instructions from supervisors

Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines

Stand and work on feet for prolonged periods in a fast-paced environment

Occasionally use company computer equipment and systems as needed

Skills and qualifications

Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods

Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Basic math skills (counting, simple calculations)

Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and group situations

Ability to pass a forklift training test

Note: Workers will not operate a forklift in this role; they just need to be able to pass the training test.

Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow all safety guidelines

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

Pre-employment requirements
