Job Summary:

Prepares meals for residents n accordance to procedures and is responsible for quantity of food prepared and quality of finished product.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing meals, snacks, and drinks for residents following menus and guidelines provided.
• Prepare serving area, salad bar, and dining rooms prior to meals.
• Record temperatures of food and equipment as required.
• Chart intakes in the main dining room.
• Clean work area and equipment; clean and sanitize dining area and kitchen after each meal; and assigned daily cleaning.
• Do prep assignments and re-stock items to prepare for the next meal.
• Following posted schedule for cleaning major equipment, work areas, and storage areas.
• Preparing trays for serving meals and snacks.

• Ability to understand and follow basic cooking directions.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Self motivated
