Transportation/Logistics Coordinator is responsible for route and network optimization and analysis attaining load consolidation and/or LTL efficiencies for cost and time within customer service expectations.

Education and/or experience: Associates Degree or equivalent education with 5 or more years progressive experience, or combination of education and experience. Must have experience or be familiar with inventory management systems. Food industry experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information before groups, within the organization. Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
Must be computer literate with intermediate skills in Excel. Must have advanced knowledge/skills with forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to make decisions on routine matters utilizing company policies and procedures and directions from upper management.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions in both inside and outside environments. The noise level in the work environment is usually not at a level where OSHA required hearing protection is required but may be required.
The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Must be available to work as scheduled
