Are you a financial specialist capable of overseeing daily accounting operations while maintaining a strong focus on profitability? You might be the perfect candidate for our next accounting manager! We seek a passionate, detail-oriented specialist who can monitor internal control systems and make necessary modifications that affect the hotel's bottom line by focusing on profitability. You will be in charge of payroll processing, monthly forecasting, reconciling general ledger accounts, and creating an annual budget. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in finance and at least three years of management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities: • Effectively monitor and track all accounts receivable, while also creating and controlling accounts payable invoicing • Execute payroll audits monthly and provide paychecks to all employees • Increase profitability by evaluating balance sheets, income, expense accounts, and recommended adjustments while preserving accuracy • Produce monthly forecasts and annual budgets to assist the day-to-day accounting procedures and operations • Assess a list of daily revenue activity to ensure accountability, balance general ledger accounts, and fix any discrepancies or problematic accounts Qualifications: • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software • Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; degree in finance or related field is strongly preferred • Superior customer service skills, math skills, relationship skills, and communication skills are preferred • Candidates must have at least 3 years of previous work in hospitality, preferably in a full-service hotel • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
