The DRAFT Cook is expected to prepare and cook menu items, maintain a clean and organized work area, and provide exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of food preparation techniques.* Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations, and utilizing hand tools effectively.* Collaborate with the kitchen team, demonstrating strong teamwork skills to ensure smooth service during peak hours.* Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies, utilizing organizational skills to maintain efficient stock levels.* Address customer inquiries and concerns with excellent customer service, demonstrating effective communication skills.* Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report any major problems to the appropriate personnel, showcasing problem-solving abilities.* Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes, while being detail-oriented.* Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.* Demonstrate a willingness to learn new recipes and techniques, adapting to menu changes and seasonal offerings.* Operate kitchen machinery safely and efficiently, understanding power tool operation.Minimum Qualifications:* General knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.* Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.* Valid Driver's License.* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications:* Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.* Familiarity with retail operations and sales techniques.* Experience with HVAC systems.* Experience with plumbing.* Experience with selling techniques.* Basic understanding of mathematics.* Experience with leadership.* Good driving record.
