- BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Two years nursing experience required

Description:
This position involves working on a step down unit specializing in cardio thoracic care.
The nurse will provide medical and post-surgical care for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic patient populations.
Typical procedures may include open heart surgery, TAVR, thoracotomy, heart catheterization, and pacemaker implantation.
The patient ratio is approximately 4 patients per nurse during night shifts.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.
Skills required for this position include managing telemetry, interpreting dysrhythmias, and performing various nursing procedures.
The nurse will also be responsible for wound care, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs.
The unit accommodates adult and geriatric patient age groups, managing a daily census of about 43 patients.
Nurses may be required to participate in weekend shifts as part of the scheduled rotation.
