What You Will Do

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee production operations to ensure output goals, safety standards, and employee engagement are consistently met. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role is critical to maintaining smooth plant operations and supporting Clarios' commitment to quality and efficiency.

You'll lead a team of production personnel, coordinate daily manufacturing activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position is on-site at the plant and requires flexibility to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.

What the Group Does

The Manufacturing team is responsible for producing high-quality batteries that power vehicles worldwide. This group ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining safety, compliance, and operational excellence. As part of the Operations unit, the team plays a vital role in Clarios' ability to deliver reliable energy storage solutions to customers.

What Does Success Look Like

Train and coach production personnel to perform assignments safely and efficiently.

Maintain strong employee relations through consistent application of policies and coaching.

Ensure production goals are met by managing staffing levels and assigning work effectively.

Administer and enforce health, environmental, and safety standards across the plant floor.

Drive continuous improvement by investigating variances and encouraging process enhancements.

Monitor KPIs such as scrap rates, productivity per person/hour, and labor/material usage to meet or exceed cost standards.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

What We Look For

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (preferred but not required).

Minimum 3+ years of prior supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to work any assigned shift and required overtime.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred

Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
