Yard Coordinator

Adecco is hiring immediately for Yard Coordinator positions. This role supports daily yard operations by coordinating truck traffic, directing lift operators, and ensuring accurate equipment tracking in a fast‑paced depot environment. This is a hands‑on position that requires working outdoors and operating heavy equipment.

Job Summary

The Yard Coordinator facilitates the efficient movement of trucks, containers, and lifts throughout the yard. This position combines traffic coordination, lift operation, data entry, and physical audits to maintain safe and organized yard operations.

Essential Job Duties

• Direct truck and trailer traffic throughout the yard

• Coordinate and direct lift operators on the yard

• Process equipment interchanges into the depot system

• Perform physical yard audits for containers and equipment

• Operate lift equipment to mount and dismount containers

• Assist with additional depot assignments and special projects as needed

Abilities & Skills Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time

• Strong attention to detail and basic data entry skills

• Customer service and communication skills

• Experience operating heavy machinery or lift equipment preferred

• Ability to work safely in an active yard environment
