A company is looking for a Remote Part Time Profee Ophthalmology Medical Coder.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide coding and abstracting services for physician medical records using ICD 10-CM, CPS, and CPT coding systemsReview medical records to assign diagnostic and procedural codes and ensure appropriate DRG assignmentParticipate in coding education, team meetings, and maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and regulationsRequired QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of related coding experience, specifically in Profee OphthalmologyCertification in CPC, COC, CIC, CCA, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIAExperience with Epic, 3M, and 360 coding systemsAbility to code Clinic E&M and CPTs with modifiersExtensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPS, CPT coding principles, and relevant regulations
