At Achieve, your work fits into real life and makes a meaningful impact.OverviewBehavioral Consultants contracted with Achieve Behavior Alliance Plus, LLC provide evidence-based behavioral support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a contracted position, and we are intentionally building a network of independent clinicians who value flexibility, autonomy, and collaborative, team-based care.Behavioral Consultants at Achieve complete functional assessments, develop practical behavior support strategies, and work closely with families and support teams to improve quality of life. Services are delivered primarily in home and community-based settings, with a focus on real-world application and sustainable outcomes.Behavioral Consultants provide services under an Independent Contractor Agreement and are not employees of Achieve Behavior Alliance Plus, LLC. Achieve will not provide insurance coverage of any kind for the benefit of the Contractor, including but not limited to Worker's Compensation, Unemployment, or other insurance.ServicesCompletion of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and ongoing behavioral evaluationTeach and coach caregivers, direct care staff, and team members on behavior support plan strategies and interventionsDevelopment, implementation, and revision of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) in alignment with the Person-Centered Individualized Support Plan (PCISP)Identification of the function of behaviorTraining and consultation with caregivers, direct support staff, and team members to ensure consistency across environmentsOngoing data review, progress monitoring, and outcome-based recommendationsCollaboration with case managers, waiver providers, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team membersDocumentation and reporting in compliance with BDDS waiver standards, timelines, and billing requirementsRequirements(All costs associated with obtaining and maintaining requirements are the responsibility of the contractor.)CPR & First Aid CertificateNegative TB test prior to providing services to clientsClean background checkEducation: Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or related fieldInsurance: Professional Liability InsuranceValid Driver's LicenseActive Auto Insurance with Proper Coverage as recommended by an insurance agent for the driving incurred for this positionQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderReliable transportation to and from clients locationMust not be excluded from receiving federal payments for providing healthcare services and consent to searches of the Office of Inspector General List of Excluded Individuals and Entities database at start of Contract and monthlyMust not be excluded from federal healthcare programs and consent to searches of System for Award Management (SAM) at start of contract or monthlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and with a teamExperience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Support PlansAccess to electronic devices with access to internetExperience working with individuals (children and/or adults) with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or AutismFamiliarity with an electronic health record systemFamiliarity with Google WorkspaceWorking knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standardsExperience working as a Behavioral Consultant#J-18808-Ljbffr
