BlueScope Steel - - Responsibilities: Operate and shape: Use machines to cut, punch, bend, weld, or shape materials into specified components to meet current demands; Prepare and set up: Set up machines and confirm specifications using drawings, blueprints, tablets, or other tools; Lift and position materials: Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed; Ensure quality: Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications; Maintain and organize: Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices
