Kinsa is recruiting for a: Director of Quality / Frozen Foods Location: Missouri (Onsite) Our client is a growing multi-site food manufacturing organization, and is seeking a Director of Quality to lead company-wide FSQA strategy across multiple facilities. Primary focus will be driving the transition from reactive quality systems to a proactive, scalable, and compliance-driven approach. You will partner closely with operations and executive leadership to build structure, strengthen food safety programs, and support continued business growth. MUST HAVE experience in MULTI-SITE Quality Assurance leadership. Compensation/Benefits: $150,000 - $175,000 Base salary (Negotiable higher for right candidate) 10% Bonus Target Comprehensive Healthcare 401k with company match PTO and Holiday pay Relocation assistance Key Responsibilities and Goals: Lead and execute a unified company quality strategy across multiple manufacturing facilities. Build and standardize consistent quality systems, processes, and expectations across all locations. Provide leadership and development support to site-level quality teams. Drive continuous improvement in food safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality. Lead audit readiness, certification efforts (including SQF), and compliance programs. Partner with operations and leadership to identify gaps, reduce risk, and strengthen systems. Competencies Needed for Success: 10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in food manufacturing, including multi-site oversight. Strong background in food safety, regulatory compliance, and audit/certification readiness. Demonstrated ownership and experience with SQF and GFSI-related food safety programs. Experience in USDA regulated environment not required but strongly preferred. Proven ability to improve and build Quality Programs in evolving or high-growth organizations. Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field preferred but equivalent experience considered.
