Pathologist Assistant

Pathology Assistant needed to perform complete dissection, gross description, and selection and submission of tissue for microscopic examination and special studies such as flow cytometry and/or immunohistochemical staining. Interact with pathologists and carry out duties under their direction. Maintain high ethical standards and integrity in the performance of assigned duties. Photograph gross and microscopic specimens. Assist in preparing educational conferences and providing training to pathology personnel, including pathology residents and medical students. Act as a liaison to other departments and laboratories to ensure quality healthcare. Maintain pathology protocols, procedures, reports, and data.

Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience required. License: Pending license acceptable for submission, must be in-hand prior to start. Certifications: PA (ASCP) required.
