Job Description Job Description Anderson Ford of St. Joseph is searching for a Collision Technician/ Bed Liner to join our shop! We are looking for a driven and detail orientated person. Anderson Auto Group consists of eight retail locations in Nebraska and Missouri.BENEFITS FOR FULL TIME EMPLOYEES:Professional Development & Continued EducationEmployee Appreciation Events Such as Cook-Outs, Outings, and Contests401k MatchMedical, Dental, Vision, Life & DisabilityEmployee Discounts on Vehicles, Services, & PartsPaid Vacations & NO SUNDAYSDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Model and uphold Anderson Auto Group's Core ValuesServe as a positive role model and/or teammate.Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants and/or needsReview damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates, and plan work to be performedSand body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper to protect them from paint.Fit and weld replacement parts into place, using wrenches and welding equipment, and grind down welds to smooth them, using power grinders and other tools.Prime and paint repaired surfaces, using paint spray guns and motorized sandersRemove damaged sections of vehicles using metal-cutting guns, air grinders and wrenches and install replacement parts using wrenches or welding equipment.Chain or clamp frames and sections to alignment machines that use hydraulic pressure to align damaged components.Fill small dents that cannot be worked out with plastic or solderFile, grind, sand and smooth filled or repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand toolsDispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical window-and-seat-operating equipment and trim to gain access to vehicle bodies and fenders.Maintain inventory-ordering, cancellation and returns.Maintain current safety training for role.Maintain Certification and training for necessary programsInstall correct bed-liners for trucks - new and used- up to required amount per week.REQUIRED SKILLS:Excellent attention to detailExcellent customer service skillsAbility to prioritize tasksAbility to function well in high-paced and at times stressful environment.Valid driver licenseKEY MEASURABLES:Productivity over 100% and continued improvement
