Specialised Part-Time Consulting Opportunity

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced document and presentation quality professionals with strong expertise in document production, presentation QA, content accuracy, visual consistency, and professional work-product review.

This role focuses on reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy, quality, consistency, and presentation effectiveness. Selected experts will assess work products for factual errors, formatting issues, visual defects, structural weaknesses, and overall professional quality.

Key Responsibilities

Document Quality Assurance

• Evaluate professional documents for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and overall quality
• Review structure, formatting, information hierarchy, and readability
• Identify factual errors, inconsistencies, omissions, and presentation defects
• Assess whether documents meet professional production standards
• Apply rigorous quality-control judgement across different document types

Presentation & Slide Deck QA

• Review PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations for content and production quality
• Assess slide structure, visual hierarchy, consistency, and narrative flow
• Identify alignment, spacing, typography, layout, and formatting issues
• Evaluate whether slides communicate information clearly and professionally
• Review consistency across templates, charts, tables, graphics, and other presentation elements

Content Accuracy & Consistency

• Review work products for factual and internal consistency
• Identify conflicting information, unsupported statements, and content discrepancies
• Check consistency of terminology, figures, labels, headings, and references
• Evaluate whether conclusions accurately reflect the information presented
• Identify substantive content errors alongside production-quality issues

Spreadsheet Review

• Evaluate spreadsheets for accuracy, clarity, and professional presentation
• Review calculations, tables, labels, and supporting information for consistency
• Identify discrepancies between spreadsheet data and related documents or presentations
• Assess organisation and readability of spreadsheet-based work products
• Review whether quantitative information is represented accurately in associated charts and tables

Visual & Production Quality

• Assess documents and presentations for aesthetic and visual quality
• Identify inconsistent styling, poor spacing, alignment issues, and visual clutter
• Review charts, tables, graphics, and layouts for clarity and consistency
• Evaluate adherence to established formatting and presentation conventions
• Identify production defects that reduce usability or professional credibility

Cross-Format Quality Control

• Review related documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as an integrated set of work products
• Check consistency of figures, claims, terminology, and conclusions across formats
• Identify discrepancies between source information and presented outputs
• Assess whether supporting materials remain aligned across different deliverables
• Evaluate overall coherence and production quality

Structured Evaluation & Feedback

• Assess assigned work products against defined quality criteria and evaluation rubrics
• Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors
• Distinguish substantive quality issues from minor production inconsistencies
• Provide clear, structured written feedback
• Apply evaluation standards consistently across assignments

Ideal Profile

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in document production QA, presentation QA, document quality assurance, content quality, or a closely related field
• Strong experience reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
• Excellent attention to factual accuracy, formatting consistency, visual quality, and presentation detail
• Strong understanding of document and presentation production standards
• Ability to identify both substantive content issues and fine-grained production defects
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides
• Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets and professional document-production workflows
• Native or professional fluency in English
• Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback
• Master's degree or higher from a recognised institution is advantageous

Engagement Details

• Part-time independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote
• Flexible scheduling based on project requirements
• Compensation: $70–$110/hour
• Work includes evaluation of professional documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, and related production-quality materials
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
